My heart and my mind are at war

He asked for my forgiveness. Said he made a mistake. Wants me to take him back.

And I do believe in giving people second chances (though thirds are pretty much out of the question).

And, I do love him.

My heart wants him back.

Especially when he kissed me.

But my mind isn't so sure.

My best advice would be to not take him back. However, I don't follow my own advice in such matters; I've taken back people that I should have set on fire rather than accept again. Ultimately, you'll have to decide for yourself. Just know that we care about you, regardless of what you decide. Use your heart and your head, hon.
