Wow.... they actually let the voting machines let the Democrats win?
Looking past the furor of the Democrats re-taking the House last night, here are some very interesting things that happened in this election:
* Arizona voters defeat gay marriage ban! (YEAH! Finally one of them stopped! Unfortunately, in 7 other states, they passed.)
* California re-elects Schwarzenegger as Governor. (He said he'd be back.)
* Minnesota elects the country's first-ever Muslim, Democrat Keith Ellison, to the U.S. House. (FINALLY some religious diversity!)
* Lieberman wins Connecticut Senate race as an Independent. (Jerk. I really hope the Democrats don't welcome him back into the fold.)
* South Dakota defeats abortion ban. (I knew that most people are not hard-line anti-abortionists, but I am relieved.)
* Missouri voters allow stem cell research. (Take THAT Rush Limbaugh!)
Oh, yeah... and Bush no longer has a rubber stamp congress!
