This makes me sad: 21st century Witchcraft executions

Here it is, the 21st century, and there are still women being executed for witchcraft.

Note that she is to be beheaded because her accuser, a man, says she used witchcraft to make him impotent.

*sigh*

When even intelligent people's minor fears can be tapped for fun and profit, I agree... not enough has changed (or may ever change, for that matter)

There are people practicing witchcraft all over the world. The problems start when an extremist religious movement decides to muscle into the political and judicial scene.

I know one woman who was let go from here job because she was pagan, in Whatcom County. Another woman, was told that "there were no jobs for her" at a particular Bellingham establishment because she did not go to church.
