I've definitely physically felt somewhat better over the last few days, since the ER visit, and then stopping the carvedilol and lithium. Emotionally, I'm still a basket case.
Today I went in to see my MD, and she had some interesting news:
I may have walking pneumonia.
She told me there were two more things she suspected: A blood clot in my lung, or plain old walking pneumonia. She did a blood test for the first -- results negative -- and gave me an antibiotic (azithromycin) for the latter. She said if pneumonia is the case, I should see results pretty rapidly.
Tomorrow I have a full pulmonary function test. Yippee!
On the anemia front, she still isn't sure why I am anemic but of the 3 stool samples I gave her Monday. one did test positive for blood in the stool. So I may be bleeding internally... but not much.
The appointment lasted much longer than I was expecting, so I missed my film class this afternoon, but did make it to Interpersonal Communication.
So close. Graduation is so close.
