US reportedly pulls out of UN Human Rights Council
The Human Rights Tribune is reporting that the US has pulled out of the United Nations' Human Rights Council, "an international body within the United Nations System. Its stated purpose is to address human rights violations."

The mainstream media hasn't picked up on this yet.
If this is true... it sends a scary, scary message about this country's government.

Consider this though, many of the countries on the Human Rights Council are themselves the world's biggest violators of human rights (China, for instance). So how effective of a council can it be for really policing the world's human right's violators when half of them are on the council?

Since the United States is also a massive human rights violator, it's probably just as well.

Well it's sad but not actually surprising?

So what are Americans going to do when they rig the voting machines and the same kinda government gets in again? What if they let Obama get in and then they shoot him? What then? Will there be a popular uprising that goes beyond a single person?

I feel like I am being watched. Taken photos of. Brainwashed. Less is more. Is it really 1984? Life imitates a SF novel.
