Obama (and Big Media) Turn Blind Eye to Israeli Apartheid

Is the chance for racial reconciliation, change, and the end of a Republican White House that Obama represents worth this price? That's the question for me this election.

For the record, I do not believe that peace will come to the Middle East until a secular constitutional state is established in Israel/Palestine.

I challenge you....

Is this your only issue for who becomes president? If it is, I personally don't think any candidate will ever meet your demands.

Re: I challenge you....

Oh no, no no no no no... See my previous rants on his nuclear ties, his voting record on FISA, his campaign contributors. He's bought and paid for. Question is, by whom.

I'm a Green, through and through. I have voted Green in every presidential election since 1996. I secretly want Obama to win, for just those reasons he outlined today: He has been talking about being a citizen of the world, and getting rid of nuclear weapons, both high on my priorities list. And I meant what said about racial reconciliation and change and the end of the neocon imperialist reign. For all of those reasons, I have been considering voting Democrat this year.

But I'm not a Democrat, and I also see his flaws. And I keep running up against my conscience.

I like Cynthia McKinney, but I'm leery of her choice as running mate.

That's why, for me, this race is a toss-up between the right-wing Obama and the Left-Wing McKinney. It's a matter of perspective.
