New Wikipedia article: Hit for hit

With seespikerun as an inspiration, I discovered that Wikipedia didn't have an article about "hit for hit," that ritual combat game that some aggressive young guys play. Surprised me, because I think it's fairly universal, isn't it? So anyway, I started an article, but I've not had a lot of luck finding citations on the web. I need to check the academic literature. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, Atanarjuat. I saw that when it came out. Powerful movie. I had forgotten about the hit-for-hit game in it.
