I graduate from university and enter the job force, just in time for the global financial meltdown.

The global financial meltdown was caused by your graduating. The Universe is conspiring to screw you and doesn't care who else it takes down with you.

Just kidding, it has nothing to do with you, just coincidence but it can sure feel like it does sometimes.

No, it doesn't.

The universe revolves around the entire city of New York.

;-)

I'm none too happy about what's going on in the world as well. Nonetheless, even with the move, I'm still plugging on. Hang in there.

Correct me if I'm wrong. yYou mentioned in a previous post that you didn't want to go back to your previous career. If that's true, I REALLY understand.

To hear Canadians talk, it revolves around Toronto!

Yup. Burned out.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't think the economy will right itself by the time I graduate in June.

I'm right there with you. I bailed out of one career (which, to be be fair, was bailing on me just as fast) and decided to launch my own business just as everything went pear shaped.

I suppose a more sensible person would be hunting for a job with regular paychecks, but I'm honestly not sure there's much point.
