This week, I saw something that I have never ever seen in a U.S. food store before: Coffee Crisp!
I was shocked! Coffee Crisp?!?! In the States?!?!?!?
For those of you who don't know (ie., Americans), Coffee Crisp is a Nestlé candy bar that consists of cookie wafers, coffee cream, and is covered in milk chocolate. (Think of a larger Kit Kat, with coffee flavoring and less chocolate, and you'll get the general idea).
Coffee Crisp is the #1 selling candy bar in Canada, and it's absolutely delicious. But I only get to enjoy them when I am in Canada.
That is, until now!
Nestlé is currently test marketing the confection in several select markets in the U.S., and the Seattle area is one of them! Yay!
So, my American friends, repeat after me: "Makes a Nice Light Snack!" "Makes a Nice Light Snack!" "Makes a Nice Light Snack!"

Or what may be the new version of the chant if I get a hold of them, "Makes a Light Mac Fat! Makes a Light Mac Fat!"

It makes sense that Seattle would be one of the test markets... lots of Canadians around here, and people in this area sure love their coffee...

That's fine, but I'm just happy with being able to buy the regular one.

I'm just waiting for Tim Hortons to start opening doughnut shops on the West Coast of the U.S.!
