...I showered, put on a new nicotine patch, took my meds, made my bed, made tea and peanut butter crackers for breakfast, read my email, read the news, read Facebook, read LiveJournal, scanned a bunch of documents from my IN box, cleaned the refrigerator, took a walk up to the edge of Sehome Arboretum, made tea and garlic bread for lunch, did dishes, watched a couple of TED Talks, played the Space Game, watched Bill Moyers, took out the garbage and recycling, and wrote in my LJ -- all without smoking a cigarette!

So why do I feel like I've accomplished nothing today?

Funny how sometimes feelings don't reflect reality.

I'm really antsy today. I feel like I'm just filling time until... ?

Keeping busy is the biggest battle. I keep reminding myself how much time I spent smoking ever day...at a pack a day, that is at least 80 minutes of new free time every day.
