Slept from about 9pm until midnight, then woke up, thanks to the nap I took this afternoon. Usually it's depression that affects my sleep cycle thus, but now it's the cigarette withdrawals (It's Thursday now, which is day 8).

I don't really want to be up right now, but my body isn't cooperating. Still having trouble concentrating, so I can't seem to focus on anything for long.

Trying to find something constructive to do. Thanks heavens I don't have work to go to tomorrow, though I do have F.L.A.R.E. class to attend at noon.

Financial Literacy And Renter Education. It's put on by the Opportunity Council. My caseworker at the Homeless Resource Center asked me to take it.

that doesn't sound anywhere near as fun as coloring and writing on orange peels, but good luck anyhow!

I slept a lot, but in spurts when I quit. I would wake up in the middle of the night with cravings...or the worst...at 5am and couldn't fall back asleep. I hate the early morning stuff.

My attention span suffered as well. Don't worry. These are all symptoms of withdrawal. It is *normal.* Everyone who quits goes through this. I went through it. You are going through it. It is a shared experience. And it is WORTH IT in the end.

I am really proud of you quitting for 8 days. That is HUGE!
