Ok, I've been threatening to do this for a while. It may not do any good, it may be too little too late, and I may end up regretting exercising my free speech rights later by revealing myself here as a Cheney opponent*, but I am fed up. I wrote a letter to my Representative in the U.S. House today:

6-NOV-2007

To:
Rep. Rick Larsen
104 W. Magnolia, Room 206
Bellingham, WA 98225

Re: IMPEACH NOW!

Dear Rep. Larsen,

As a constituent, I am urging you to support impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney and
President George W. Bush.

We can't wait for the 2008 presidential election, despite what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
says. The list of high crimes and misdemeanors Cheney and Bush are committing continues
to grow by the day, and the Democrats aren't showing any spine! It's time to put impeachment
on the agenda.

Stop them, NOW, before it is too late! Protect the Constitution! IMPEACH!

Sincerely,

Kevyn Jacobs

* I won't be surprised if, by revealing my opposition in this letter, I may end up on a Homeland Security watchlist, on a TSA no-fly list, sent to a Halliburton-run concentration camp, disappeared, or killed. I'm that afraid of where this country is going.

Just wait, he will send you an automated response on the topic from one of his secretaries...just like when I write him.

Of course. I expect no less, and I will post the automated response when I get it.

The important thing is, they keep track of what their constituents are writing to them about. And, I've actually done something.

Yet again you inspire me. Perhaps one day I will also reach the time to act.

Right now, I just want to kill Tim Eyman and slap every person who voted against a simple majority for school levy's half way to Sunday. Bastards.

Aaaaaaaand ... way to go, Democrats. The GOP tries to force a vote on the bill and the Dems bury it.

We're in la-la land for certain.

Nader was right. The difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is superficial, window dressing. Both parties are firmly in the pocket of the Military-Industrial Complex. Eisenhower warned us this would happen!
