Since I am on a letter writing kick... I wrote letters to my two U.S. Senators, Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray, urging them not to confirm Michael Mukasey as U.S. Attorney General. Digging the hole deeper...

Dear Senator Cantwell,

As a constituent, I urge you to vote against the confirmation of Michael Mukasey as Attorney General of the United States.

It would be immoral, unethical, and just plain wrong to appoint an attorney general who believes waterboarding is not torture, and supports the President's attempts to shred the U.S. Constitution.

I urge you to vote “NO” for Mukasey!
