McCain's scary mix-up

John McCain terrifies me. He is so gung ho to declare war on Iran, he gets confused on who the U.S. is fighting. I know, I know, it might just be a slip of the tongue of a tired politico... but I find it revealing of his mindset. What's especially interesting is that his minder, Sen. Joe Lieberman, who is firmly in the pocket of AIPAC, is the one that's keeping him on message about who "the enemies" are. (From MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann)

As the primaries continue towards the wood chipper, I like McCain and Obama even less. I don't like the fact that McCain is so ready for war and that Obama is in god's pocket.

I don't know how to put it into words. If he is elected, there are going to be some very religious overtones to his national policy. I can't give you sound bites or quotes, but deep in my bones I don't think his election to the presidency will be a good thing.
